Watched it yesterday Roy and you're right goal kicks were pathetic, one of them he missed would have been converted by a 10 yr old

Alright, he had a off day, but a off day in the wrong level of game.

If he had kick two of the goals, Leeds would have had to score twice to win.

A good job, the big head Newman acted selfishly by not passing inside to another player or else we might not have won!

Smiths success rate is 74.9% with most success being from the right hand side of the field. Perhaps the club should consider doing what it did in 1985 with Gill/Stephenson by having left footed Smith kicking from the right and a right footed kicker from the left.

apart from place kicks his overall kicking game was good...goal kickers have off days,Rhys Martin couldn't kick snow off a washing line in a game about 6 weeks ago,he didn't miss yesterday!
Interesting idea re two kickers..Hampshire could fulfill part of that roll

Wow to say i'm flabbergasted at the result is putting it mildly ,but i do have to doff my cap and say congratulations to the Warriors they came out second half and got stuck into the task in hand . I also agree the goal-kicking at Wigan has been a problem now for a long time and it does need to be addressed as one person has said it could have been a different story so we have the Wires next and without being to cocky should they get thro that match ,i cannot see them losing their grip on the Challenge Cup !!
